EUA: Genting obté llum verda per traslladar la llicència de VLT al centre comercial del comtat d'Orange

Newburgh’s Town Board has unanimously approved an agreement between Monticello Raceway Management and Resorts World Hudson Valley to bring video lottery terminals and an electronic casino to the Newburgh Mall in Orange County, New York.
Genting Malaysia, which owns Resorts World New York City and Resorts World Catskills in Sullivan County, will invest $32m to relocate wa VLT operating licence from Monticello Raceway.
Newburgh Town Supervisor Gil Piaquadio said: “Newburgh Mall is struggling to attract occupants. This will be the first and only such licensed facility in Newburgh and in Orange County.”
Genting vol operar 1,300 terminals de loteria de vídeo al lloc juntament amb el saló d'autor de Resort World, Bar 360. Crearà entre 200 i 225 llocs de treball a temps complet, amb una mitjana de 74,000 dòlars anuals amb beneficis. La ubicació del VLT generarà 3 milions de dòlars en tarifes d'amfitrió anuals repartides per la ciutat de Newburgh i el comtat d'Orange.
